  • Issue Description: We gave time in a community session in the week of 9/19-9/23 for selection of six clan representatives. This selection will then be confirmed via our consensus flows in #active-issues and #formal-issues in following days. We need our reps first, this will ensure the issue consensus completes.

    1. We have 3 clans but need to select 6 representatives to ensure our autonomous decision making goals are met. 3 Female Reps 3 Male Reps. Our attempt at ensuring no voices are drowned out over time.
    2. All clan reps will be temporary but must have basic understanding of our Turtle, Wolf and Bear clan model.
    3. All Reps must be consistently available for monthly facilitation of active AdvoxDAO issues described below. Sub reps can be chosen by reps for support in facilitation & emergency absence.
    4. The Clan Reps have different simple actions to be taken in AdvoxDAO discord channels, priority for reps is ensuring we complete our consensus decision making flows while accurately representing community voice.

    6. Clans reps are both selected & removed when needed with our consensus tools described in SoP.

  • Proposal Name: The Stacks 2.1 Upgrade
  • Proposal Description: Collaborative alignments on everything to do with the Stacks 2.1 Upgrade. No matter which way you may vote on the 2.1 upgrade, we can still discover consensus positions together & create action items via any necessary SIPs creation, future upgrades etc. This may address any valid voices of concern for or against the breaking changes of the upgrade, the current mechanisms of voting etc.
  • Proposal Domain: governance, Stacks protocol, community

  • Impact, if not solved: Major impact would be potential lost value(s) coming out of collaborative deliberation & dialogue. If the 2.1 upgrade does not pass, we risk stagnation of the desired upgrades of dedicated contributors to the Stacks network. If 2.1 passes we may still have some valid voices of dedicated contributors concerned about long term implications.
